Bukit Tabur (8)

20/06/08

I went to Bukit Tabur (again) last Sunday together with my friends. It was a very early hike. We arrived at the entrance to the trek at about 5.45am! The journey to the midpoint where we can get good view point took us about 1 1/2 hours.

As usual, the hike up to Bukit Tabur was a fruitful one. I got a few shots and had a lot of fun.

  • Wow, that is quite an image. The lighting is spectacular and the view is breathtaking! The mist and distant mountains combined with the rays of sun...I'm speechless. I assume you must have used either a grad ND filter, or some sort of combination of exposures in PS? However you did it, you got the perfect exposure. This is by far your best image, in my opinion. Glad to see you posting again!

  • Sweet! Yeah, I am hoping to get a grad ND filter soon. It beats doing the post-processing in PS.

  • Great picture.
Did you use a ND grad on the sky, or were the clouds enough?

  • Hi Ben, long time never hear from you. How are you doing? Yeah, I've got myself a D300 1/2 year ago. What about you? What camera you using?

Hi Glen, Thanks for dropping by. Yeah, I used a Grad ND filter for the sky. Hope you like the photo. ;)
